For Our Members :: Professional Mentoring

Mentoring relationships are well documented in nurturing a sense of loyalty and commitment to one's profession.  Therefore, you should perceive your role as a mentor to be a nurturer with a strong respect and concern for the mentee and their professional goals.  For this process to be successful you need to consider how your knowledge and experience can be helpful to the mentee.  Through some State Districts, a Professional Mentoring Program for Registered Dietitians who are members of the American Dietetic Association, and their local state district is offered.  If you are interested in being a mentor or mentee, please contact your District Coordinator for further information.
