Legislative Ambassadors Needed!

CAND-BAD is looking for food & nutrition professionals interested in public policy to serve as a Legislative Ambassadors.

Legislative ambassadors are the CA Academy’s personal link to the California State Legislature. They are responsible for cultivating a relationship with their legislator in order to promote evidence-based health and nutrition legislation and advocate for the dietetics profession.

Legislative Ambassadors must be a constituent of the legislator that they represent. To determine who your state legislators are,  click here.  To find your congressperson/representative, click here.
