The Mega Issues process is an important tool for responding to members' needs related to far-reaching professional concerns. Mega issues address key strategic questions the organization must answer to illuminate choices and challenges that will need to be overcome moving forward for the envisioned future.
A Mega Issue is strategic and futuristic in its scope, may cut accross multiple discipline areas, and is projected to impact the profession three-to-five years into the future. Mega Issues are considered by the House of Delegates Leadership Team for discussion by the House of Delegates. Delegates meet in the fall (in conjunction with FNCE®) and virtually in the spring in order to conduct business and mega issue dialogues.
Academy members can submit Mega Issues using the Mega Issue identification form.
Delegate Council routinely request California membership to complete surveys to understand your perspective on Mega Issues presented.
Stay tuned for future member surveys.
